Animal Moves Relay
PhysicalU6–U8Difficulty 1/5
10 minutes · Teams of 3–4 · 15 × 15 yards · Unopposed
Objective
- Develop the running, jumping, hopping and landing that everything else is built on
Set-up and how it runs
- Set two lines of cones 12 yards apart. Split into teams of three or four behind the first line.
- Call an animal: bear (hands and feet), crab (on your back), frog (two-footed jumps), flamingo (hop on one leg), cheetah (sprint).
- First player travels to the far line as that animal, runs back normally and tags the next.
- Run four or five rounds with a rest between each.
- No ball at all in the first rounds — this one is about the body.
