In the Lineup web dashboard, on a laptop or desktop. Scan the QR code on the login page with the Lineup app and you are in — no extra password. The drill builder is a big-screen tool, so it is not in the phone app.

Can I animate a drill, or is it just a still picture?

It animates. Lay out the starting positions, add a frame, move the players and the ball, and repeat. Press play and the whole thing runs — pieces travel along the arrows you drew rather than sliding in straight lines.

Is the pitch a real size?

Yes. The board is in metres, so a full pitch is 105×68 and every cut of it — half, attacking third, penalty box, futsal court — is the real thing. There is a plain grid for rondos and possession boxes, and a blank surface for anything else.

Can I see the drill from the touchline rather than from above?

Yes. Switch to the angled view and the pitch tilts, players stand up, and goals and hurdles turn with it. Drag, draw and place work exactly the same in both views — and a new drill opens angled, because that is the view a coach recognises.

Yes. Pick from the preset accents or set an exact hex colour, choose from thirty-plus backgrounds or drop in your own photo, and add a cut-out player image on top. Your team badge and player photos are used automatically.
